Evaluation and Improvement Scheme of Health Education Program in Korea Health Care Providers

Abstract

|
The opinion survey of the public healthcare providers who had participated in the various training courses in the National Health Institute as trainees from August 1. 1989 to October 1. 1989 were carried out to evaluate present health education
program and find out alternative plan for improvement.
The questionnaire is composed of closed questions and open questions.
@ES The brief results of this study are as follows:
@EN 1) Most of respondents (59.4%) think that health education activities in Korea are not active.
2) Opinion on the delevery system; At the level of the special city and the special city under the direct control of the central government, the separate health education department is needed. (48.0%). Level of the city, the county and the
ward(Gu),
the exclusive health education section is needed.(48.0%)
3) The respondents emphasis community health education (87.2%), industrial health education(40.6%) and school health education (36.2%).
4) The respondents suggested the establishment of the center for health education media development. (97.8%)
